Your engagement hours help make Excel Academy special!

We could not be the school we all hoped and wished for when enrolling our children without the amazing helping hands of our community.

Don't forget, each family has a engagment hour requirement of 40 hours per family or 20 per parent. It is important to fulfill and LOG your volunteer hours for our school as those logged hours give us access to grants and funding.

There are many ways to earn those hours! Volunteer your time. Come to meetings. Ask questions. Jump in and help with school activities and events. Donate what you can. Everyone is busy, but finding a little time to help contribute to your child’s educational experience is rewarding for you and for them. It’s a wonderful investment that produces lasting benefits. Let us help you get involved! We have many opportunities for you to give your time, day or evening, at school or from home. Many hands make the job easier and every hour helps!

Remember that if you go over 40, you can carry those hours into the next school year. Donations also count toward your volunteering hours, $10 = 1 hour.

How to Find Volunteer Opportunities and Track Hours?

  • We use an online volunteer hours tracking system called Track it Forward. It is also the place where we post all of our volunteer opportunities, so sign up today to get involved!
