Opportunities to Volunteer and Serve

Excel Academy is a school like no other because it relies on and requires the support and engagement of our parents, families, and community members. Our parent-led programs are an important contributor to our school’s truly exceptional culture. There are always opportunities to participate in big and small ways–from home and in school.

The PTO’s ability to fund programs, field studies, family events, and teacher initiatives is possible because of our community’s generosity of spirit, time, expertise, and funds. Thank you for your continued engagement. Through our families’ service and commitment, we show our children that their school, their education, and that they themselves matter.

You Are Already a PTO Member

In the interest of equity, community, and service, we do not require membership fees. If you’re reading this, chances are you are eligible to be a member of the PTO. Parent(s) or legally appointed guardian(s) of an Excel student as well as teachers and staff are eligible to be a PTO member.

If you’re interested in learning more about joining the PTO or opportunities to serve through committees, please consider joining us for our Community Nights. Please check our events section for the full roster of upcoming events. In order to make PTO meetings more inviting, fun, and family-friendly, we are hosting four community nights. Childcare, food, and community building will be provided!  We will also be coordinating with the school staff to bring you an educational element and a chance to meet fellow parents and families, chat, and ask questions.
